After two months of working on this project on my own, I’ve finally launched an app that helps people with video reviews.

Like many of you, I’ve always wanted to create something of my own. A long time ago, while working as a Shopify developer for brands, I noticed that video reviews or UGC are used quite often, and it’s very difficult to write something original every time, so I decided to look for apps. But damn, they’re all either expensive or too limited, and at the same time, not very customizable.
That’s why I decided to develop Fide: Shoppable Videos & UGC
It wasn’t an easy journey, since I had to learn how to build an app on Shopify from scratch, even though I’m a fairly experienced developer. Plus, I jumped in right when AI-powered apps were flooding the market—I was no exception. In the end, it involved a very long wait, fixing bugs, and resubmitting, but it’s finally out!
It’s designed to help you easily add a beautiful carousel or grid layout to your site, with plenty of customization options. Unlike other apps, it focuses on a simple interface without unnecessary sign-ups or redirects.
