Is it possible to get a first layer?

Man, it seems impossible to get a good first layer on this printer.
What could be causing this? I've already tried various things I found on forums and in videos.
I aligned the X-axis. I tightened both belts (without making them overly tight). I tightened some screws while leaving others with a bit of play.
I added Z-axis supports to make the structure more rigid.
I'm using linear rails, which made the Y-axis and the bed very stable and free of wobble. I swapped the nozzle for a "Unicorn" nozzle.
I tested two different build plates: the original one and a PEI plate. Before starting the auto-leveling process on either plate, I heated the bed to 70°C for 10 minutes and ran the auto-leveling (photo attached). I did something similar for the nozzle (240°C for 10 minutes).
During printing, I kept adjusting the Z-offset because it was too high. If I raise the Z-offset, the ridges diminish (though they don't disappear completely), but on the other hand, gaps appear in the first layer along the Y-axis.
I don't know what else to try. It seems impossible.
