My Parents TV has been doing this strange flickering routine for the last several months. The weird part is it will this multiple times a day, then not do it for several days, then suddenly do it everyday for a week.

They had a tech guy come out to help but he was pretty useless and just suggested a new TV.

Anybody have any ideas, I would be very grateful for any help, Thanks!
