Dean Corll had raped, tortured and murdered most likely 40 sum boys & young men in Houston, Texas in the late 60s & early 70s. He was aided by his teen accomplice's, whom he groomed to abuse & be his partners in crime. One of his accomplices, Henley, brought him a girl one day, infuriating Dean. This resulted in a series of events that ended with Dean attacking Henley & being shot by him with a gun in the process. He died right then & there, never to stand trial for his crimes. After his death, his crimes were finally exposed.

His mother, who at this point had divorced and married several times, had this to say regarding her son:

"My heart is heavy with sorrow; not only for the loss of my son, but also for the loss of all of the boys and people whose lives they touched.

To David and Wayne (his accomplices), you may have the best defense lawyer the world can offer, but your best defense is God. You can lie, plan, and plant evidence to shift the blame to one who can not defend himself, but you surely know that your days on this earth are numbered, whether it is behind bars or walking the streets.

We are not concerned with your bodies, but we are concerned with your souls. “And the truth will set you free.”

If you knew where to find the bodies of these children, you also have a list of names. Please set the anxious parents hearts at ease, and see how much better you feel.

I’m not trying to solve this mystery, as I know nothing about the case. I only know that Dean loved both of you. He did things for you that you could not do for yourself, but you cut off the hand that fed you. Dean can not help you now…

Would he have rented the boat shack to bury bodies in and still loan it to friends of the family to store furniture in and help them move in? Would he ever stoop so low as to have had these wild parties in a house belonging to his father whom he adored? He was not a sex maniac nor a sadist. You might be able to convince the type of people who drag their children to see bodies dug up out of the earth that this is sure, but the people who knew Dean, worked with him, raised him, will never believe these terrible accusations.

I called him on the telephone Sunday night. I tried calling all day and when I finally got him he said he was dodging someone. He did not say who and I thought perhaps it was someone he might have owed money to. I did not worry, because Dean had never given me cause to worry.

The tear gas pencil and the bed proves to me and the world that Dead was not going to shoot you. He only wanted to live and let live. The torture boards were also planted, and where are his clothes and the books I sent him on “Help for Today” and “This Thing Called You” by Ernest Holmes?

Parents, pray for your children, and children, write your parents. What a wonderful world this could be if we are all turned to God for guidance.

The police department could solve all their problems if they too really and truly asked God for help. God does not protect us from the law, He is the law. The law of love, life, happiness, prosperity and success.

I can not help but wonder if the digging would have stopped if the record had not been broken…Now that the digging had stopped, let's keep searching for souls, with prayer letters to the press. I’m sure the press will cooperate, because they too could use a bit of God’s help…

Father God…I know that Dean’s life was not shed in vain and know that our children who have left this earth plane have returned to You and are surrounded by your loving care. Grant the parents of all missing children the strength to wipe the bitterness from their hearts and know that You will not forsake us.

The Fritzl property in Amstetten is a building dating from around 1890. A newer building was added after 1978 when Fritzl applied for a building permit for an "extension with basement." In 1983, building inspectors visited the site and verified that the new extension had been built according to the dimensions specified on the permit. Fritzl had illegally enlarged the room by excavating space for a much larger basement, concealed by walls. Around 1981 or 1982, according to his statement, Fritzl started to turn this hidden cellar into a prison cell and installed a washbasin, toilet, bed, hot plate, and refrigerator. In 1983, he added more space by creating a passageway to a pre-existing basement area under the old part of the property, of which only he knew.

1977: Fritzl begins sexually abusing his 11-year-old daughter Elisabeth.

1980: Fritzl's mother, Maria, dies in captivity in Fritzl's attic.

1981–1982: Fritzl begins to turn the hidden cellar into a prison cell.

28 August 1984: Fritzl lures 18-year-old Elisabeth into the basement and imprisons her.

November 1986: Elisabeth has a miscarriage in the 10th week of pregnancy.

30 August 1988: Kerstin is born, and lives in the cellar until the age of 19 in 2008.

1 February 1990: Stefan is born. He also stays in the cellar until 2008, age 18.

29 August 1992: Lisa is born. In May 1993, at 9 months of age, she is discovered outside the family home in a cardboard box, allegedly left there by Elisabeth with a note asking for the child to be looked after.

1993: After repeated requests by Elisabeth, Fritzl allows the enlargement of the prison, putting Elisabeth and her children to work for years digging out soil with their hands. The prison was enlarged from 35 to 55 m2 (380 to 590 sq ft).

26 February 1994:The fourth child, Monika, is born.

December 1994: 10-month-old Monika is found in a pushchair (stroller) outside the entrance of the house. Shortly afterwards, Rosemarie receives a phone call, asking her to take care of the child. The caller sounds like Elisabeth, but it is assumed that Fritzl used a recording of her voice. Rosemarie reported the incident to the police, expressing astonishment that Elisabeth knew their new, unlisted phone number.

28 April 1996: Elisabeth gives birth to twin boys. One dies after less than 3 days and Fritzl removes and cremates the body. The surviving twin, Alexander, is taken upstairs at 15 months old and "discovered" in circumstances similar to those of his two sisters.

16 December 2002: Felix is born. According to a statement by Fritzl, he kept Felix in the cellar with Elisabeth and her two eldest children because his wife could not look after another child.

19 April 2008: Fritzl arranges for critically ill 19-year-old Kerstin to be taken to a local hospital.

26 April 2008: During the evening, Fritzl releases Elisabeth, Stefan, and Felix from the cellar and brings them upstairs, informing his wife that Elisabeth had decided to come home after a 24-year absence. Later that evening, after an anonymous tipoff during a visit to the hospital, Fritzl and Elisabeth are taken into police custody where she reveals her decades-long imprisonment during questioning.

19 March 2009: After a 4-day trial in the town of St. Pölten and 3 weeks before his 74th birthday, Fritzl pleads guilty to the charges of the murder by negligence of his infant son (and grandson) Michael, as well as the decades of enslavement, incest, rape, coercion and false imprisonment of his daughter Elisabeth, and is sentenced to life imprisonment.

Kerstin was reunited with her family on 8 June 2008, when she was awakened from her artificially induced coma. Doctors said that she would make a full recovery. It was revealed that Elisabeth and her children were more traumatized than previously thought. During captivity, Kerstin tore out her hair in clumps, and was reported to have shredded her dresses before stuffing them in the toilet.

Stefan could not walk properly, because of his height of 173 cm (5 ft 8 in), which had forced him to stoop in the 168 cm-high (5 ft 6 in) cellar. It has also been revealed that normal everyday occurrences, such as the dimming of lights or the closing of doors, plunged Kerstin and Stefan into anxiety and panic attacks. The other three of Elisabeth's children who were raised by their father are being treated for anger and resentment at the events.

The Disappearance (February 2018):

Fernanda Maciel, a 21-year-old pregnant woman from Santiago, Chile, who had successfully turned her life around after earlier struggles with substance abuse, vanished on February 10, 2018.

Initial Flawed Investigation:

Chile’s main police force (Carabineros) initially made little progress, ruling out several suspects with alibis. Dissatisfied with the slow response, Fernanda’s family reviewed local CCTV footage themselves and noticed her walking toward a nearby warehouse where her close friend and neighbor of 10 years, 23-year-old Felipe Andrés Rojas Lobos, worked. Despite questioning Felipe, police initially found no evidence in the warehouse.

PDI Takes Over & Uncovers Clues:

Due to police inaction, the investigation was transferred to the Policía de Investigaciones (PDI). PDI investigators tracked store receipts showing Felipe had purchased a 25kg bag of cement and floor mortar on the exact morning Fernanda disappeared.

The Discovery (June 2019):

Sixteen months after Fernanda vanished, Felipe’s ex-girlfriend came forward stating he had confessed to pushing Fernanda during an argument. PDI searched the warehouse for the sixth time, digging beneath piles of trash and a concrete slab to discover Fernanda’s mummified remains in a fetal position, along with the remains of her unborn baby.

The True Crime & Confession:

Autopsy results contradicted Felipe’s "accidental fall" story, proving Fernanda was strangled. In December 2020, Felipe fully confessed: he had lured Fernanda to the warehouse to smoke marijuana, ambushed her, strangled her unconscious, sexually assaulted her, and buried her while she was still alive under lime and cement. He then reset and sold her phone, later appearing on national television pretending to help search for her.

Trial & Justice (April 2023):

After numerous trial delays caused by hunger strikes, suicide attempts, and legal shifts, Felipe Andrés Rojas Lobos was convicted of murder, aggravated sexual assault, and causing an abortion. On April 25, 2023, he was sentenced to life in prison with parole eligibility only after 40 years.
