Cape Cod ideas with toddler?

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have been returning visitors to Cape Cod for quite a few years now. We stay in South Yarmouth and visit a few towns nearby to shop and eat, but generally stay near our cottage on the beach.

This year looks a little different. Our 14 month old daughter is joining us for the first time and we are looking for some fun activities to include her in. We already plan on taking the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for the first time and we’re pretty excited about that. But in terms of other activities, does anyone have any suggestions for fun little day activities that a toddler and family may enjoy? I considered the whale watching (mostly for me, I love whales but also have anxiety and don’t want to be stuck on a boat for 3 hours 🥴), but I’m unsure if that is the best option right now. Maybe in a few years.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! We’re heading down May 31 - June 4.

TYIA!!
