Upgrading Brakes on a K8 600

What is going to be the most cost effective way to improve brake feel on these bikes? Currently have the stock master, rubber lines, and stock Nissin calipers. Just swapped pads to Galfer HH's about a month ago and love how they bite, but I feel like my front lever is still squishier than I would like it to be. Haven't swapped the fluid this year yet, so will definitely do that first, but while I'm in there, what would be the best upgrade to improve the feel?

  • Rebuild OEM master cylinder (Cheapest at $30ish, would this make a difference?)
  • Swap to braided lines ($1-200ish)
  • Swap to aftermarket master cylinder (don't even want to look at prices)
  • Something else?

I had a Form 1 approved to 3D print a baffle stack for one of these eBay "1/2x28 Aluminum Compensators". Submitted pictures on the form and described the parts, and honestly was not sure if it would be approved, but it wen​t throu​gh. Given that, is there​ any risk that said item could be construed as a silencer part and cause issues even though I have an approved form, or am I in the clear?
