I had been thinking about purchasing the tabi boots (6cm heel) and the MB for ages, so when I saw that Garmen had both I was stoked. I originally was only going to buy the boots this first time around, but thought fuck it I’m depressed and deserve another dopamine hit.
The boots are a dream. I was worried about the fit (I’ve never had tabi-style split toe shoes outside of sandals), but they are super comfy and I can already tell they’ll be a staple. I’ll probably have to take them to cobbler though to get a thin sole added to the bottom for some traction/durability since I’m tall and accident-prone. As for the bag, it is literally perfect. I’m a sucker for a relaxed/slouchy silhouette, and it can fit quite a bit of my life’s various accoutrements (apparently I have a lit of necessary loose stuff), and it adds a little more visual interest than my other bags.
Beyond the items, Garmen is a total gem. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with them. We hit a small snafu during the ordering process for the boots, but Garmen was incredibly responsive, and even included a small gift to make up for the hiccup, which was such a kind, unexpected touch. And shipping also took like no time (granted I’m on the west coast so that probably makes things a little easier).
Overall, thrilled about everything. I will definitely be ordering from Garmen again.
