Financial Capability: With over $20 million in remaining cap space, the front office has more than enough flexibility to structure highly competitive, team-friendly, short-term contracts for both of these veteran pieces without jeopardizing future extensions.
The "win-now" window is open today. Relying on an unproven secondary and a leaky front seven is a risk we don't need to take.
