Hello, little friend! (pt 5)

Sad news. The original little sprout made it 2 days past its transplant, then laid down and wilted! 🥺😭

I was still holding on to hope when it first went down because it still looked alive-ish, green but still plump, just on the ground temporarily like it did before. Then it went very limp and flat. So, barring sending it off to a lab for DNA testing (sounds silly, right?) we’ll never know what it was. But it was alive, even if the time was brief.

In other pots: Starting to feel pretty sure that there are now 6 blueberries growing. 1 with the first sprout, 2 in a second pot, and 3 tightly packed together in a third pot. After watching the death of mystery sprout after its transplanting, I am waiting for the threesome to get a bit older before I attempt separating them out. If anyone has thoughts regarding timelines or if I should just leave them as they are, I am open to suggestions. 😊
