Hello, I've needed to move a bit lately and am shipping 18x18 boxes of clothing.

I am aware of the dimensional weight system but recently was surprised to hear that shipping one of these boxes within Florida (Orlando to Ft Lauderdale) was the same price as Florida to Pennsylvania (Orlando to Pittsburgh). That is what I was told by ups at the counter. Is that correct?

Is it all considered long distance? I was under the impression that the distance always matters. Especially in a drastic example like this. Please advise. I appreciate it 😄
