Hi, if you click on this post and wonder, "how the hell was this done?? isn't this impossible to do in the modern F1 games??", well. I have great news to share. Someone in one of the Discord modding communities has been hard at work making a custom model importer into the modern F1 games, and it's progressed past the point that it fully imports custom models into at the very least, F1 2018's regular cars, with support expected to span all of the EGO 4.0 games. This means that if you, for some sicko reason, want to import custom models into F1 2015, it will eventually be done. Want to switch classic cars in say, F1 2019? Yeah it will be able to be done as well! I have no idea when it will be released, but I will keep an eye out for when it will.
