My baby is only 4 months old, but somehow already has very strong opinions about how she wants to be soothed.

When I’m holding her against my chest and rocking her back and forth a very specific way, she settles. If the rhythm is off or the motion is slightly different, she cries like I ruined her life. So I end up doing the same arm-breaking bounce over and over by myself.

That’s why I’m scared to waste money on a swing that only does one basic motion and ends up useless. And babies grow so fast I also don’t want something she’ll outgrow in 1 mo. PS: she’s growing so fast already that I’m paranoid about buying something she’ll outgrow in two seconds.
