Am i the only one who thinks AI personalization is officially dead
been running cold email for almost 4 years now and spent the last 8 months going all in on AI personalized openers the whole stack clay smartlead research agents the works
reply rates moved maybe half a percent and cost per lead almost doubled
ran a control last week with zero personalization just a tight subject one sentence of value one soft cta
reply rate was 4 percent which beat every AI personalized sequence we ran this quarter
same icp same infra same send times
i think prospects have seen so many noticed you posted about x openers in the last 18 months that personalization now reads as automation and clean simple templates read as a real human
am i the only one seeing this or has everyone quietly moved back to short templates and just not posting about it
