Looking for my first pair of boots. I have pretty much narrowed it down to these two. In a store, I got to try on the A* as well as some Sedici Corsa 2 boots, they both fit fine. The A* was definitely more comfortable. However, value-wise, the RST beats the Sedici, so I have subbed that in for the more budget end. From what I can tell, both boots are very protective and should handle ankle and shin protection. The RST wins on paper with a full 2-2-2-2 rating but im not sure how much that matters compared to the reputation of the A*. I know the A* will last a long time, anyone know how durable RST is? Ive got a pair of their gloves and they feel really nice.. Any input is appreciated.
