How much length did you get back when you lost weight?

I'm currently about 2.5"-3" on a good day, but I think my gut makes it appear smaller and also kinda get buried in the fat.

It's not a pretty sight currently, but I'm hoping to get a bit of length back when I lose some weight (currently 320lbs).

Is it reasonable to hope for 4"?

Honestly I'm probably a lost cause but at least if I lose some weight I might feel a bit better with clothes on.
