Rear indicator wiring
hello everyone. i’m currently in the process of refitting indicators to my 1998 shadow 600 as someone removed them. i’ve gotten the front indicators sorted out.lb/w and lb wired together with diodes then into the Indicator positive (same with orange ofc). but for the life of me i cannot figure out the rear indicators. no matter what i do they both indicate at the same time no matter which direction i switch at the handlebar. on the rear i have a pair of kellermann atto df 3 in 1 leds. originally they were wired running light, brake and ground together both sides into one and then i added the left and right indicator wiring. i thought the issue might be related to back feed so i installed a diode in both indicator wires to each side which also didn’t fix it. then i detached both running and brake light so all i had was indicator and ground and they were still both indicating at the same time. even after soldering both indicators separately to the oringial green ground wires of the indicators they still both indicate at the same time. and yes i’ve installed a relay, 2 pin however if that makes a difference. i’m not at all experiences and this is the first thing i’m ever doing electrical work on so if anyone has a solution before u bring it to a workshop i’d gladly appreciate it
