Axle spacer won’t fit back in place

From what I can tell everything is lined up the way it should, even the axle will go all the way through but the axle spacer is just too big to get back in. It’s a 1885 Honda shadow 700

2022 phantom fuel leak

Doesn't leak when it's on the road, only when the kick stand is down and running. Any advice or guidance will be happily accepted please!!

My new to me ‘04 vt600.

I took off the sissy bar and pilion, adjusted the chain, bled brakes and topped off with new dot 4, changed oil and filter, put air in tires, added racing stripes, wrapped the exhaust on account of the last guy put hose clamps on the old chrome cover pieces and they were rattling like all get out, added a vinyl tank sticker. Do y’all like it or hate it? What should I do with it? I kinda like it how I got it currently but am looking for creative criticism and some laughs mixed with genuine ideas. Thanks

2005 750 spirit

Tj customs kit

Bike idles good and carbs are synced up. New plugs aswell, and intake boot. But excessive popping on decel. Bike does not pop on decel at 4 turns out on the mixture screw (which is to rich). I suspect i need to put a different jets in but they are already considerably large ( 45 and 142). But runs mint at higher rpm than idle.

Would love some input!

Honda shadow vt500c advice!

Hello again! I’m still trying to get this baby up and running the way I want to, today I tried to wire a starter button, I saw a guy do a bypass method where he simply wired the button to 2 of the prongs on the solenoid and it cranked and I tried the exact same thing when a button came in the mail and it did infact crank, wires and button got warm so I took them off so it could cool and I put it back on and it never cranked again with that button, so I decided imma have to do it the hard way and actually wire this mf, I got a new button from advance auto parts and I know that I need to wire a yellow and red wire to one end but I don’t know exactly what to wire to the other end, I cut a yellow and red wire off of a connector thinking that was the one that led to the solenoid but it ended up just going nowhere lol and I found out I had 2 yellow and red wires (I did end up finding the one that goes to the solenoid) if anyone can help me and let me know what color wires I need to add to the other end of my button that would be extremely appreciated!!! I’m seeing a lot is vids say the white and black and green and black but none of those videos are working on a vt500c and I just wanna know before I screw up. Attached are photos of the wire(s) my button I’m planning on using and the wire I cut that led to nothing(it actually lead to the oem but there was no start button so the wire led to nothing)

2003 Honda Shadow 750 ACE Headlight Assembly Question.

Honest question. I want to swap my headlight assembly on my '03 Shadow 750 to an LED projector headlight assembly. Is it terribly hard or pretty straight forward? (It doesn't look too complex, but I've never done anything like it before) and i haven't found a decent youtube video longer than 2 minutes.

Thank you all in advance.

I just buy this ugly monster, what you think?

It's Honda shadow VLX 600 2001, I'm a little bit afraid cause the thing have rust for here and for there (nothing too severe), the sound it's amazing and it drives very well.

What should be the first step to improve?

I'm also curious about your general opinion about my new bike, thanks a lot in advance!

Jack/lift recommendations and lifting points for a 2003 Honda Shadow Black Widow?

Sup!

I recently bought a 2003 Honda Shadow Black Widow and I'm looking to buy a motorcycle jack/lift for doing basic maintenance and eventually things like removing the wheels.

I'm a bit confused about what type of jack would be best for this bike. Since the engine sits lower than the frame, it seems like a regular motorcycle jack may not have a good flat lifting surface.

For those of you who own or have worked on a Black Widow/Spirit:

- What type/brand of motorcycle jack or lift do you recommend?

- Where exactly are the safe lifting points on the Black Widow?

- If you have pictures of your setup or the exact lifting points, that would be really helpful!

Thanks!

My 2002 Honda Shadow 750 Black Widow (Spirit for non EU) 🥰💙

The saddlebags and the fuel tank pouch are genuine Honda parts, as well as the windshield (that I removed, its top edge kind of disturbed my sight while driving). She came with Silvertail K02 pipes which sound lovely 🥰

I'm planning to change the mirrors, mount a radiator cover and probably change the handlebars for a mini ape (with shorter risers)

I'm totally in love 💙

[UPDATE] Anything out of the ordinary?

So I lowered the RPMs to match the sound of a good running motor I found here but I noticed that the cylinders are not in sync(?). Sounds like one cylinder falls behind(lags?). Its more apparent when I've ridden a bit and then stop. Is this a sign that the carbs are out of sync or am I overthinking it?

Update: 1986 VT500C

I posted a little over a week ago but I got this bike two weeks ago and just got it fired up for the first time today! I’m happy with the progress I’ve made so far and wanted to update where it’s at.

Did a good wash on the bike so it looks better. Put air filter pods on it cause the stock connector for the airbox is missing, new spark plugs, oil change and filter, fuel tank liner and new battery. I’m waiting for a cheap petcock so I can take the screen off of it and use it but I’m not patient so I gave it shot today and it’s alive!!(kinda)

It starts with the choke on but if I give it any throttle it died, I wasn’t running it with a lot of fuel so that may be a factor but my thought is also that because it’s not the stock air system that the air/fuel is off. I’m going to check the spark plugs next time I work on it to see if I get any information from that but any suggestions or advice would be great. Hopefully she’ll be on the road soon!

Advice needed

I recently picked up a 2000 Honda Shadow and it was partially disassembled by the carburetor cuz the guy was going to take the car out but he didn't end up doing it and didn't feel like putting it back together and I don't know too much about motorcycles and was hoping somebody could help me out if I send videos to him or hop on a video call.
