Hi, I'm going to Athens for 3 days and am considering a private room at a hostel so I have access to planned activities and can meet other people. I'm doing research online, but I'm not sure where is best? CityCircus and YellowSquare keep coming up as good options, but they are both right across the street from each other and seem to be on the edge of the 'rougher' neighbourhood. They are also expensive for a hostel - over $600 for 3 nights. Does anyone have suggestions on which one is better? Or if a boutique hotel stay is my better bet? I don't want to rough it at all... I'm only considering a hostel for the social part, but I want to feel safe. Thanks for any suggestions.
