Hello! I was fortunate enough to receive a uoft interview this past cycle but it went suboptimal so I am reapplying in the upcoming cycle.

I want to receive more interviews and want to hear everyone’s two cents on how to get an interview at the respective schools. (I.e. improving for kira talent for UWO/TMU, how to get Ottawa?? UBC? etc)

Please PM me if that’s what you’re more comfortable with. Appreciate any suggestions!

AMCAS opens in 2 weeks. I haven’t formally started any part of the primary application. The most I have is my ABS (list of experiences) for OMSAS.

I’m still desperately searching for shadowing. But at this point if I put projected shadowing hours is that okay?

I have just above 200 hours in clinical. I have average volunteering and leadership experiences.

I know AMCAS is open on a rolling basis but as a Canadian applicant I’ve heard it’s best to apply as soon as it opens.

For reference of time availability, I am also working full time right now.

I’ll try to apply regardless but I want to know what to expect given the time crunch. Thank you all!

Curious when and how news come out (12 am? 9 am? OMSAS? Email?)
