Trying to figure out jewelry and accessories. I am going for an elegant, timeless look, and typically am a minimalist when it comes to jewelry. I often feel like big earrings overpower me or just look fake and are uncomfortable. I was considering wearing pearl studs or even diamond studs, but since my dress is strapless and I’m planning on having my hair up, is that too simple?
I have been searching high and low and can’t find any earrings that I like.
Long story short, because I am not having my father walk me down the aisle and did not invite a specific uncle that I haven’t spoken with in 15 years to our small wedding (50 people), my parents are now rescinding any financial support for the wedding. I previously involved my mother in some of the planning and she insisted on certain things, and I acquiesced because she stated they were paying for it. Now I’m on the hook for all of it. I didn’t go completely overboard but I’m just reeling and very stressed. Most contracts are set in stone. Where can I make the biggest impact as far as reducing cost? Alcohol and food? Idk what to do. Part of me just wants to cancel the whole thing but we’re 1 month out and the just told me they’re not paying this weekend.
