I want a tongue piercing so incredibly bad!!! I want to have it only for a short amount of time during summer and when I study abroad. Then, I will take it out. I want it from the end of May ish to December end, and then I will take it out, but will it still cause gum recession/tooth damage? Are there ways to safely have a tongue piercing? To clarify, I only want it for this short of a time because I heard that long term tongue piercings cause increased damage (otherwise I’d keep it forever and ever and ever)
