08 or 07 with a lower avg (70-86%) schools

Just wondering, where did you guys commit to and what was your avg?

I feel like avgs like these are not commonly talked abt on here so i believe it would be nice for the 09 to have variety as they will be applying soon!!

Engl 1129

Hi!

I will be a first year this fall and plan to transfer to ubc to complete my degree. I’m a bit sceptical about my eng course after a few weeks of scrolling and seeing some comments.

Some say Engl 1123 and 1129 aren’t that different…so if anyone has taken either could you please give me your insight?

Thank you!!

Community College to Med

Hi everyone!

I’m currently a grade 12 student and was wondering if it is possible to become a doctor in Canada without going to university first? I have gotten accepted into UBC and UofT, but for financial reasons I am going to a pretty well known college in Vancouver. My goal is becoming a doctor in Canada. I have never heard of anyone going to community college and then becoming a doctor before, so I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences about this pathway. To be specific, I’m going into health sci and then planning to transfer to UBC for food, nutrition, and health for my undergrad.

Any insight would be appreciated, thank you!!
