This is my first actual attempt at a tank that doesn’t look rubbish. I’ve never tried to carpet before, I used Monte Carlo tissue culture as my last (first)tank ended up with hundreds of snails and it was really sad either trying to accept them or dispatch them. I really struggled making sure it wasn’t upside down when planting and getting them to actually stay in the substrate, how much does that matter for a dry start? 🥲 I wasn’t going to use co2 as I only have a little 45g fluval setup I was gifted, but I’ve heard it might be worth pulling it out of the shed to get the carpet going once I flood? Is that correct?
Please send me thoughts and prayers and any advice you may have
