how can i remove leaf bud resin off my converses?
Hi yall!
I recently stepped on some seeds (check 2nd image) that released some yellow resin on the soles of my shoes, it’s been on for over 4 days now.
What I’ve tried so far:
- Magic eraser
- Rubbing alcohol 70%
- Dishwashing soap
- Scratching it off
I bought Goo gone but it says I shouldn’t use it on rubber (the soles are vulcanized rubber), so I’m not sure what I should do to remove it without damaging the rubber
edit: If I were to try using goo gone, what should I do to prevent or reduce the damage on the rubber?
Gemini says it’s the “balsamic resin”coating from a Balsam Poplar tree or an Eastern Cottonwood tree, if that helps to know
Any recommendations on what to do? Thanks in advance!!
