AITA for getting mad at my boyfriend for getting mad at me for not making peanut butter sandwiches?
Context:
I work from home and he works nights at a bar.
I pay for rent, 75% of the groceries, utilities, internet and I will clean and even take care of his dog.
He cooks one meal for us a day before he goes to work and drives me to the gym.
He woke up mad at me today because while he slept until 2pm, I didn’t cook us breakfast.
He states that it shows how ungrateful I am that he cooks because I won’t do the same for him.
I told him I was very busy at work and I didn’t have time.
He states that I could make time to cook something fast.
I told him that it’s unfair he’s mad about that considering that I work to pay for everything on top of cleaning and taking care of his dog and that him cooking is honestly the bare minimum in exchange for everything I am doing for us.
He states I am leveraging that as a way to have him as my “employee” and have him cook for me.
And that if he was paying rent, he’s going to do the same to me.
