6 Days post Op (Scar Photo)

Hi everyone,

I had my surgery last monday and everything is going good! I had an anterior subcutaneous ulnar nerve transposition. I have almost regained full mobility, sometimes experience some pain but nothing unbearable and slowly starting to use a bit of force with my surgery arm.

If anyone has some questions about the surgery, please let me know! I was so scared beforehand bit honestly, it is way easier physically then I expected, however mentally, it’s a bigger challenge now that I am home ridden for the next two weeks.

Subcutaneous Transposition on Monday

Hi everyone, I have been lurking on this reddit for the last couple of months and this will be my first post.

I have my Subcutaneous Transposition surgery on my left arm the upcoming monday and probably later this year on my right arm.

I was wondering what the experiences of you guys are after the operation? How fast could you return to your work, what was you able to do right after surgery and what not, how did you kill time i the first couple of days, when did you return to sports etc.

I am very nervous for the operation. I have never had surgery in my life and the idea of it just makes me so nervous haha. Hope your experiences can somewhat make me a bit less nervous and gives me somewhat more perspective of the healing journey.

Thanks alot in advance!
