We met when we were each 14 and basically grew up together. Our families have become good friends. We decided to end it since we’ve been growing apart after high school ended, and the relationship was getting stale. The thing is, I’ve always been ambitious and because I spent a lot of my time working, she felt alone. We also have very different interests and hobbies. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and the only thing I want to do is call her to get back together. My family is urging me to reconsider. What should I do? Thanks
