Aliexpress Wrong Variant (Update) - this thing is amazing!

Just wanted to give an update. Regarding my Thor Max, I reached out to AYN both on Aliexpress and via email. They are more responsive in Aliexpress and very accommodating.
Here’s a breakdown of what happened so far:
- I reached out through chat
- They initially offered a refund of the price difference of a Lite vs what I ordered (Rainbow Max Thor). I think they said 170$. I could’ve said yes to this because I only paid 28K pesos (around 450$ at the time) when I ordered late March, via Aliexpress. And I know I have another Rainbow Pro from Aliexpress that’s coming as well (which I paid 22k pesos (250$) which I intend to give to my Wife. But I realized how expensive the Thor Max now compared to what I paid for so I insisted that I will coordinate with them to get what I originally ordered.
- They agreed to replace the wrong variant, they will pay for the shipping expenses, they gave me a shipping label and I have scheduled the DHL pickup.
- DHL was successful in sending back the wrong variant.
- AYN confirmed to me that what they will ship will still be a UFS4.0 variant (a relief on my end).
- I’m still waiting for it to be shipped at this point. They are very accommodating so far on my concerns and I expressed how I adore the company and to get this resolved. I can sense them helping me out as well.
but then, finally, I have received my other Thor Pro Rainbow. I just unboxed this today and haven’t turned on yet (because someone said here in reddit to let it sit for a while since my country is on the tropical side of things, humid it is). And, I can’t believe how good-looking it is. I checked the hinge and every buttons and they seem to work well. I think the device is sturdy enough. I couldn’t imagine myself breaking one of these, I feel like it is as sturdy as my normal-sized New 3DS.
