Hi all! I'm in the last year of my PhD and have four months to submit my dissertation for review. I've struggled with writing since I started my program, mainly due to perfectionism and writer's block. I worked with a writing coach for several months and things have improved somewhat, but I'm still having a hard time with writing efficiently. Often, I get stuck on one sentence/paragraph, and end up writing/re-writing it for several hours (and sometimes, I'm ashamed to admit, days).
Is this something anyone else can relate to? If so, what strategies would you recommend? If you're already a writing wizard, what do you do that you feel makes you successful in this domain?
Any and all advice/guidance appreciated! Thanks in advance!
