So I recently got a 2tb thumb drive and wanted to use it to load an operating system on a virtual machine on a separate computer

(Not iso image) And so I loaded up the software and it downloaded it to the drive but it seems to have reformatted my drive and I'm now limited to 32 GB. Is there anyway to fix it and get my storage space back?
