Hi all,

I live in a rented flat (1st floor). It gets incredibly hot in the summer. It’ll be around 28 degrees in my room. I want a portable air conditioner that’s easy to set up.

I have Juliet balcony doors in my room - not windows (similar to doors pictures) so one side open with a door handle and the other side stays closed (unless I open it manually). My concern is I don’t want to leave my window open all night. I am petrified of spiders and don’t want any massive ones crawling in.

Does anyone have any clever solutions to this problem? Can you get a kind of seal for the air conditioning unit?

I’m at a loss! Would love to hear your creative workarounds
