Played a bit 6 months ago, now I'm back to it. I have 3 storage full of crap, 1.2m and not really focusing on missions at the moment, just PVP.

When I say crap I mean mostly weapons, armour etc that I'd just never use. In this situation what's your go to, just use the kits and try to snowball, or sell everything and make some good loadouts and stick with those?

I mainly play LZ and looking at building a good AK12, t4 armour and helmet and t5 ammo, plus a cheap pistol for ai.

I feel like going down the route of selling everything and just buying a few kits of what I'm going to use and getting good with those select few guns.. aiming to keep each loadout at 800k max if possible.

Hello everyone, I'm creating an RP server which takes on a realistic approach to the DayZ world. The plan is to have as much of the real world as you'd get in life, there'll be police, governments, criminal network, civilian jobs like taxis, car dealers, builders merchants etc.

Mods will not add silly or unrealistic gameplay but instead help add the realism side to the server.

Some of the things I'd like:

a living survival world

with politics

criminal networks

bounty hunts

town conflicts

police investigations

player-driven stories

I'm looking for anyone who would potentially like to be part of this when it's released so we can open the server with a police department, some player run shops and businesses etc.

Played about 6 months ago, only got to like lvl 15 or something. Wanting to get back into it with someone as was boring solo. I'm 34m from the UK looking for someone with a chilled play style but can be serious when needed. No raging. Play daily, don't care what maps or modes we play. My discord is PurpleDarkness

DayVanilla is a new pure vanilla DayZ server focused on providing the original DayZ experience without the problems often found on official servers.

• No boosted loot
• No traders
• No custom weapons
• No stamina changes
• No gameplay-changing mods

The server remains completely vanilla.

The only additions are admin tools used for moderation and anti-cheat purposes:

• VPPAdminTools
• CFTools

Admins do not play on the server to ensure fair moderation and no admin advantage.

We are currently building the community before launch and looking for players interested in:

I have 400 hours but only on modded servers like the labs, aftermath etc. I've decided to give official a go as I kinda really like the survival aspect. Before I start later, anyone got any tips for an official newb?

Looking to create a DayZ server, I know it's a saturated area but kinda want to anyway. Thought I'd ask what people look for in a server beyond being active and having a good staff group?

Aiming to keep things vanilla in the sense of weapons and armour but would like more random events, no kill feeds or announcements of heli crashes and stuff. Eventually I'd like to build my own custom territory system. Would probably keep it as a duo max as there's loads of big group servers.
