AIO? Will this eventually become a toxic workplace?

hi everyone!

so basically I found a job that I absolutely love and I have been there a couple months. It is concierge and all the residents love me. Someone recently just got fired and so now I have the opportunity to pursue the job full time.

However, ever since I’ve been covering the guy who quit shifts, my other coworker has been picking with me about everything.

The last thing was about me having my coffee cup on the desk top, which is allowed (or at least never a rule about it; only food) and my manager sees my cup everyday and does not say anything.

So recently, he typed up a list of rules and one of them including “no cups or drinks on the desk,” which was obviously for me. He asked me did I sign and acknowledge the paper, I did not sign the paper because he is just a coworker and I’d never seen the cup rule before. MIND YOU, he’s had PLENTY cups on the desk.

Anyway, he calls the manager out to us and basically the entire time she praises him about this list hes wrote (majority statutes we’ve already signed off on from when our actual manager wrote them besides the literal cup rule)

The entire time she’s just being nasty and says to me “would it make you feel better if I put my name on here, would you sign it then?” After saying that she did not care about cups being on the desk, so why would I sign?

The issue I have with this is she is enabling any little bit of my coworkers’ actions as if he is superior of me when he is literally doing it to bother me.

Am I truly overreacting or should I start looking for a new job?

I only have 2 coworkers total, there is a total of 4 of us.
