I'm buying my first paddleboard (iSUP) after trying it out a few times last summer. I've only been to Deer Lake and other spots around the Lower Mainland, but haven't done it here on the North Shore.

What are the good spots to try?

What are conditions like at Cates Park and Deep Cove for a beginner?

And a really specific question for those who are more experienced or have a board - do you recommend one or three fins for paddleboarding on the North Shore, or does it matter?
