This independent German watchmaker has been on my radar for a while. I saw some of his pieces on Instagram and finally pulled the trigger. And it's truly beautiful!
It's based on standard ETA 6497 caliber but hand finishing level is impressive. He uses some unique anodizing technique that allows to achieve such cosmic colors. Perfect summer watch IMO.
This monopusher chronograph has one of my favorite dials without any doubt. So colorful. So purple/so blue/so green depending on the lighting! And I didn’t mention amazing sculptural lugs yet…
New Ming x J.N. Shapiro collaboration is also very cool. Not surprised they sold this collection so quickly.
A piece of art handcrafted by independent Russian watchmaker Maksim Sushkov from Saint Petersburg with a very limited production (10 watches per year).
This is all about details. Signature three-dimensional black-polished hands, guilloche, handmade bridge and wheels, incredible finishing level - the fact that he does all this with his own hands, alone, is pure madness.
I hope he will find an assistant and increase production some time 😅
