Just gonna talk about my experience after replying to a post asking about it

So, I wanted to speak about my experience so far before I go to work. I’ve been working for about half a year now. And so far it’s been okay, that’s the most I can truly say, I started in January and with my location, I can draw to the conclusion that my location only gets busy around like, late June, July and maybe early August, that’s my big guess since my location is at a tourist town. Then the rest of the year might not be that busy, I asked coworkers and leaders and they said that’s pretty much it.

I’ve been working 2nd shift on chicken but I also do 1st on chicken as well and they trained me on hot food for like, one day and that was a 1st shift. So I only worked around food and that was because of my experience before working at KT and personal preference. And it’s been okay, just repetitive and it can burn me out at times. I would say I’m a good worker, I always get my chicken dishes done, I cambro chicken when needed and when I know I have time to. Truck is so so, I help when I know I can help but I don’t have it as top priority due to my shifts. My pros are firstly just what the job offers, I get a good pay with my previous experience, the benefits are something good to rely on, and my coworkers haven’t given me a reason to dislike them yet. Cons are the KPS system being so damn irritating whether it’s asking for stuff past the time you are shutting down or asking for items that either aren’t available yet or are outside of the day they usually sell. Doesn’t help that my district leader wants 75 percent compliance when our last percentage of compliance was 71, I had a similar issue with waste when they said that there were “wasted opportunities”.

I will update this when a full year passes and notify yall if it stayed the same or not but my current conclusion is: my location at least has been good, it isn’t terrible but I can’t say it’s perfect, scheduling is rough due to a change in store leader so I need to talk to my new store leader. This location has been good and I hope it stays like that because I’d rather not transfer and or quit my job.

If yall have any questions or thoughts I’d be willing to answer them in my own time, since I do like being informed on other people’s experiences as like everyone else, I hate how corporate KT is being, especially with Chicken Drives, they make me wanna take a bath in the fryer

Note: this is simply me talking about my experience, I am aware this isn’t HR, if I did have problems that required HR, I would contact them in a heartbeat
