Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games Pilgrimage

Most of the scene takes place around the south Marunouchi exit of Tokyo Station. The building that they were looking at is the Sompo building in Shinjuku (in a completely different city, which is a bit jarring)

Summer Lures

Topwater, vibration lures, and some replacement hooks. Penny pinching, so bought them from the neighborhood used goods shop

New line (Shimano Pitbull 8+)

I've always used Seaguar's Grandmax X8 line from the start because they offer the best value where I am. I decided to try Shimano's PE, just for the heck of it, and I was surprised with how well it performs. Despite being a notch thicker (1.0. Used to use 0.8 most of the time), it definitely casts farther.

Still too expensive and casting distance really isn't that important for me, so I'll go back to using Seaguar when I'm done with this roll. Just thought someone might find this useful if they're thinking of picking one up.

What's Your Ultimate Lure?

When the going gets tough, which lure do you switch to? The one that you use just to avoid getting skunked?

For japanese sea bass, it's the coreman vj-16 for me. Works in almost any condition throughout the year. If I don't catch anything after casting this a couple of times, it just means there's no fish
