Pioneer Kuro 151FD picture recommendations?

I bought a Pioneer Kuro 151fd off marketplace for $100 because it was a good deal and the cheapest 60-inch tv in my area. I then found out that this is a well-regarded tv for its era. It did not come with the side speakers but did come with the original remote. It's currently hooked up to a ps4 and looks very good for a basic 1080p sdr tv. I tried messing around with the settings for movies and tv but not exactly sure what I'm doing. I have it set to standard mode using the 36 bit option for hdmi input.

I messed around with the "Pure" mode for my spiderman 2 blu ray, but it seemed very warm and wasn't sure if I liked it. It kinda just looked a little orange, and I'm wondering if maybe I just wasn't using the settings right. If anyone has any recommendations to get the best use out of the tv it would be appreciated.

I also plan on hooking up a ps3 via hdmi to play some games. I've heard the latency isn't the best but I think it would be more than enough for what games I'd be playing like bioshock and dead space.

Again, any recommendations are appreciated for getting the best out of this tv. Thanks
