ASUS ROG Strix G18 G815LP Core Ultra 9 275HX RTX 5070 8GB

Pozdrav svima,
Specifikacije:
- Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU
- 32 GB RAM
- 18-inčni ekran, 2560 × 1600, 240 Hz
- Windows 11
- SSD 1 tb
Kupljen u List Computers maja 2026, domaća garancija 2 + 1 godina i posedujem račun, kutiju i kompletnu prateću opremu.
Razlog zamene je to što sam shvatio da mi laptop zapravo ne odgovara mojim potrebama. Star svega par meseca bez tragova korišćenja.

Three BSODs during Windows Update on ASUS ROG Strix G18 G815LP

Hi everyone,

I have an ASUS ROG Strix G18 G815LP with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, NVIDIA RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, 32 GB of RAM, Windows 11 Home 25H2 build 26200.8737, and BIOS version G815LP.338.

The laptop had been working normally for around two weeks. I played World of Warcraft for several hours, ran 3DMark, and used the laptop normally without any crashes.

Yesterday, I suddenly had three BSODs within a few hours.

The first crash happened after I logged out of one World of Warcraft character and selected another character. The screen went black, the ASUS logo appeared, and after the restart Windows displayed “Updates are underway.”

The other crashes happened while Windows Update was downloading or processing the July 2026 Security Update KB5101650. One of the crashes happened when the download reached 99 percent.

Reliability Monitor showed one bugcheck 0x0000001E and two bugchecks 0x0000003B. All three contained the exception code 0xC0000005.

Windows Update repeatedly fails with error 0x800705B9.

I also ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, but it failed with error 0x800F0915 and said that the repair content could not be found.

SFC /scannow completed successfully and found no integrity violations.

I used DDU and installed the ASUS OEM NVIDIA driver 591.91. I also reset the Windows Update download cache, restarted the laptop and router, and tried downloading the update again. The update still fails.

Today the laptop is working normally again. World of Warcraft also works normally, including switching between characters, while Windows Update is on pause.

Has anyone experienced similar BSODs or Windows Update failures on Windows 11 build 26200.8737, especially on a laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX?

[ui] Simple and clean setup for an 18-inch laptop 2560×1600

Hello! I just wanted to share my UI setup.

I play on an 18-inch laptop screen at 2560×1600 resolution. I wanted the UI to look simple, clean, and easy to use for solo content, dungeons, and some pvp.

I also have two additional action bars on the right side, but I keep them hidden and use them for abilities that I do not need to see all the time.

My UI scale is set to 78% in the graphics settings, in case anyone is interested.

Addons used:

  • BetterBlizzFrames - Xaryu profile with a few personal adjustments
  • Leatrix Plus
  • Plumber
  • Dialogue UI
  • Just Combo Points
  • TomTom

Any suggestions or feedback are welcome. Thank you for reading!
