Can you guys help me identify this wood
Hi, I have this wood but have no idea what type it is. The wood was old so I sanded a portion and it looks red. But I still couldn't figure it out so I oiled it and it looks very red and a bit purple (it looks a lot more red in person than it's showing up on camera)
It was from a farm in Windsor , UK. I assume it's quite old.
Any ideas of what it could be ?
