Turning over LS
On this installment of I'm a dumbass who's never built an LS........ just installed push rods and Rockers. All the way up until this point the motor has been turning "free" as in no impedance whatsoever. After installing these pushrods and Rockers I get a little bit of a "chunky" feeling. I don't know how else to explain it. Something that wasn't there before. Almost a stop and start. Motor still turns over completely free, doesn't bind or require me to exert myself to continue turning it over. Just a little chunky feeling turning it over. Is that the compression? Is that the valve train? I used a push rod Checker when I got these rods, they are 8.1 which is what the Checker called for...... I did the clay on the Piston to check the valve clearance and that was okay....... maybe this is completely normal at this point of the build? It's a 6.2, 30 over, 11° heads..... can provide other specs if that's of importance to anybody.
