This post is not meant to hate on xskull nor the people that just watch xskull to gain an idea about an unit.I just want to complain about xskull's influence affecting the community badly and xskull fanboys that shit on a unit just because xskull said they are not top 10 or another unit does their job better.
Where comparisons/rankings exist toxicity will follow and xskull's rankings are a good example.Even though I don't believe that xskull wants any toxicity I still do believe that xskull's rankings influenced the community in a bad way and attracted the worst kinds of people.
I assume You guys know the meme that goes like:
"Dont fuck with us (insert unit) fans. There are only 5 of us."
Because people ignore any unit that isn't top 10 or not outclassed though I have to blame ponos too for making some broken ass units in recent times.
there are so many great units that deserve recognition that aren't op but still very good like hanzo,gravi,poseidon etc. even units like dartanyan are being ignored like wtf.
I know xskull wants to highlight these units by putting them in higher tiers but I don't think thats enough to show that the unit is actually good.I do believe that you actually have to make a proper showcase with the units outside of rankings.
My other problem are the xskull fanboys that shit on a unit just because xskull said the unit is outclassed,like ok other unit does better job but that doesn't mean other unit is teribble.
For example Coppermine is a solid anti floating but bcuz xskull says that necrodancer does better job at freezing floating,these fanboys treat Coppermine as a terrible unit like no.Necrodancer being better than Coppermine doesn't make her a terrible unit.
And it doesn't help that these fanboys are toxic as hell like it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong.If your opinions don't align with xskull's they will behave like your average twitter user. I know xskull's content is good and all but holy shit you don't have to treat his words like gospel or anything,he is a human and he can make mistakes too.(cough.. cough.. thunder jack rewiew)
I wanted to share my complaints like I said I don't hate xskull or anything as he probably didn't want things to end up like this.
If you have any problems with my complaint please "KINDLY" explain why you have a problem.
Also xskull if you're reading this what's the chance of us seeing dr.skull again?
