[discussion] this stage absolutely broke me.

this is by far THE WORST stage ponos has ever created. i’ve been trying to beat this stage for years. i tried every strat, every useful catcombos, tried out every suitable units, used every suitable cat cannons, timed everything precisely but somehow i just kept on losing and losing and losing and losing and the cycle continues. the rng and the timing needed for this stage is painful and agonizing. this stage is hell, pure hell. it's tormenting me mentally. i feel like my body is going to explode the longer i play and rage at this stage. i GENUINELY hate this stage. i’ve never hated a stage more. i don't even know how and when will i ever beat this stage. i constantly ask myself when will i ever get phantom cat’s true form. im genuinely so tired.

I know Reddit is a place where people will always be able to find the correct awnser, no matter what. Thats what i want to see if it is true. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY ANYONE GETS THIS CORRECT.

[Fluff] The bane of traits (Amaterasu appreciation post)

Amaterasu was my first uber but honestly her performance was very underwhelming in the beginning. The ubers I got after her (Anubis, Axel, Balrog) destroyed every EoC stage. Amaterasu was considered one of the best ubers in many posts in this sub and I didn't see how.

That is, till EoC 3 Moon. Bun Bun absolutely destroyed every unit while getting barely scratched. But Amaterasu with a meat shield spam wrecked Bun Bun and literally carried me through ITF 1 (with honorable mention Ramen cat).

Joining the Amaterasu cult from now.

I dont know why, but i recreated bullet train in bad piggies [fan-made]

Pixelart is mid but to be fair its my first big contraption. also, it isnt so complex, but you can tell it is bullet train alright? it can even move! (not so fast because of lag sadly) but i mean, its fine, right?

cant tell if it was a nice use of free time fuck no it wasnt but i had fun trying to try to make it

[Fluff] Fish maniac is the most bull**** level ever.

THIS STAGE ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. For context I have a level 40 Haniwa and Courier, level 30 crazed wall and cat, level 30 Cyborg, C.Bahamut, Drama, amigo, Octopus and Ururun.

I look on the wiki to see if I have what it takes to beat it. I beaten lion and Legs so this one should be easier to do because they're slower. I have no idea if Ponos messed with spamming units or not but half the time, my cats wouldn't come out. They're off cooldown, their icon is visually moving but the cat just doesn't show up.

Then the actual Islands themselves... WHY DO THEY KEEP SPAWNING IN GROUPS OF 3 TO 5 AFTER SECONDS OF THE OTHERS JUST ATTACKING!!! AND AREA ATTACKS?! ATLEAST LION WAS DEBUFFED TO SINGLE ATTACKS BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN UNFAIR SO WHY NOT CHANGE ISLAND? ITS LIKE SPAWNING 20 R.OSTS EVERY 10 SECONDS AND DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE F***ING CRITS! They ALREADY ONETAP HANIWA AT LEVEL 40, THEY DO NOT NEED IT.
