Hey everyone! I’m planning some maintenance for my Lenovo LOQ ARP9 (2024 model) and I was wondering if anyone knows for sure what kind of thermal interface material it uses from the factory.

I’ve seen that the Legion series uses Honeywell PTM7950, and if the LOQ uses the same, I’d much rather just clean the fans and leave the heatsink alone to avoid breaking the factory seal.

A couple more questions for you guys:

Do you think 1 year and 3 months of moderate use warrants a repaste already?

I bought some Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for the job, but if I decide not to use it yet, what’s the shelf life of the paste while stored in the syringe?

I’d really appreciate any insight or experiences with this specific model. Thanks!
