Giant feet, 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500
Hey guys, hoping you could help me find a part that will work for my bike. I just purchased a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500 and I am super excited to get some miles on it. It's my first bike, and as a very large rider I've run into a couple issues. I've been able to sort most of them out with some adjustments, but one of the biggest ones is that the shift lever is very far back for the size of my feet.
I have size 16 shoes and while I can make the shifter work, it's a bit awkward. I had to take the heel shifter off as my heel was hitting it with my foot as far forward on the floorboard as the toe shifter would allow. I was wondering if anyone knew of an extended lever I could use to get the shifter forward a couple of inches.
