Pacifier
PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE.
we recently took the pacifier away cold turkey for our 3y3m old. she did really well some tears and protest but we haven’t even hit the week mark and she already doesn’t ask for it. my question is now she takes so long to go to sleep. is this normal? her wake is the same (nap time is consistent bedtime consistent) but man it takes an hour for her to settle enough to go to sleep. she’s not upset or crying just walks around her rooms reads a book etc I don’t think she suddenly became able to drop a nap over night and she does eventually go to sleep (i put her down at her usual 1pm it took until 2:15 with 2 reminders from me to go to sleep)
I am just trying to figure out is this transitioning off the paci or time to cut nap time due to dropping paci? (she’s always been higher needs)
