I just started playing Valorant a couple days ago on console, and honestly I’m really enjoying it so far. The only issue is I’m definitely making a lot of mistakes. I grew up playing CoD as my main game, so I’m super used to those mechanics, but Valorant is a completely different type of FPS.
I’m still getting used to having to stand still for accuracy, managing recoil, and not just holding down the trigger. I’ve played about 10 games so far and only won around 3. I can’t tell if I’m just really bad or if it’s just the learning with these new mechanics.
If anyone has tips, I’d really appreciate it. I’m having fun even when I’m losing, but I still want to improve.
