I have finally storyboarded the whole plot and maybe I’ll go back to posting daily episodes.

Mai: How… how could you do this.

Yanagi: Mai…

Kamimura: Save it. You killed him and that’s a fact.

Ruka: Still though, at least let him have his last words, he’s going to die soon.

Kamimura: You know, he deserves to get punished.

Hiroaki: Oh SAVE IT KAMIMURA. You know what I think you are? An absolute fucking hypocrite. You heard from the motive what HE did to Mai, is this not the exact same situation?

Kamimura runs towards Hiroaki and punches him.

Hirose: Kamimura!

Matthias: I’ll hold him back for a while.

Yanagi: Mai… I’m so sorry. I couldn’t forgive myself, for letting you die like that-

Mai: Still, you didn’t have to do that, I’m back here, I’m alive. I was honestly so glad I got to see you again. Arghh Yanagi you fucking idiot! Besides if you had gotten away with it, we all would have died.

Yanagi: I know… I was planning to reveal what I did to everyone… but they beat me to it.

Tamba: Please don’t go Yanagi, not again

Mai: Yanagi… I love you.

Yanagi: I know… I love you too… well… I guess this is it isn’t it? I hope I meet you again, in another life, where we are both carefree and together. At least when I die, never let that energy leave you. That’s what i adore most about you.

Background info: A game was held where you can endure bodily punishments to receive a students dorm key.

The killer privately participates in the key punishment game and chooses to endure three lashes across his back in exchange for the victim’s room key, ensuring no one else knows he now has access, prior to the murder night, he has quietly noticed the Hasegawa’s paranoid habit of skipping communal dinners and hiding leftovers at the back of the fridge to eat alone about two hours later, typically before going to sleep in the same room as his close friend, on the chosen evening, the killer volunteers to help cook and discreetly crushes sleeping pills into the main dinner so the rest of the group will grow drowsy later, then secretly discards his own portion and pretends to feel sleepy as well, knowing Hasegawa will not touch the shared meal, he later returns to the kitchen area and mixes the same crushed pills into the hidden leftovers, carefully placing them back exactly where they were, when Hasegawa eventually eats the tampered food in private, he becomes heavily drowsy and goes to bed early, too tired to retrieve his key and join his friend, which forces him to sleep alone in his own locked room; once the house has settled and everyone else is groggy from the drugged dinner, the killer, who only pretended to be affected, uses the key he secretly obtained to enter the Hasegawa’s room and carry out the stabbing, then leaves, relying on the fact that no one knows he ever had the key and that the group’s collective drowsiness will blur timelines and alibis.
