Reading the books after having watched the TV show first

So I recently got the books after watching the show and being obsessed with it. I'm half way through the first one and I'm really enjoying it. I do have one issue though, I kind of 'jump scare' myself (I don't know a better way to word it) any time I read the descriptions of any of the characters because in my head I keep picturing the TV Show versions, like whenever it mentions Alice's black hair and Eliot's jaw my brain skips and I have to pause to remind myself of their book appearances.

I'm curious what other people's opinions were either having read the books first and seeing the cast or watching first and then reading their book descriptions.

First attack in ~4 years

I was diagnosed with CH about 6 years ago, about a year and half later I started taking indometacin as a preventative and I hadn't had an attack since. There is currently a national shortage of indometacin in the UK currently and I haven't had any in almost 4 weeks and now am having my first attack since.

I want to bash my head up the wall, because I have no Sumatriptan (which also has a national shortage) and none of the "standard" techniques are helping. Not over the counter meds, not ice, not heat, not deep breathing, not caffeine.

I'm going to be calling my GP tomorrow so I can get re-refered to my specialist, because silver lining I've had less attacks of my vestibular migraines since stopping the indometacin. Which means I really need a different preventative treatment, because it is making my vestibular migraines worse. But that in itself makes me nervous, because what if nothing works as well as the indometacin did.
