10 awg to 16 awg
I have a MB Quart NA2-400.2 that I'm planning to install soon, but I've run into a situation that has me a little confused if I'm being honest. The amp has a connector piece that connect into 3 16 awg wires (remote, ground, and power which has a 30 amp inline fuse) it recommends 10 awg (with a fuse within 18in of the battery)for the power wire. I'm confused about connecting the 10 awg wire to the 16 awg, won't this cause heat problems with that large of a size difference? And I've never had two fuse on the same connection, I'm assuming I should use another 30 amp fuse? I appreciate any help with this, amps and car audio have changed a lot since I was a teenager and it feels a lot more complicated these days lol
